Conforama and GE Money Bank are Bringing a New Credit Card into The Market

Zurich/Ecublens, 27 March 2008 – GE Money Bank and Conforama are reaffirming their 25-year partnership with the issue of a new credit card. The MasterCard, which can be used worldwide, will be launched in the summer. A high reward bonus program and flexible payment possibilities make the card particularly attractive for customers.

Conforama, number three in the home furnishing sector in Switzerland, and GE Money Bank, one of the leading consumer finance provider, will be launching a new MasterCard credit card in the summer that can be used worldwide. Conforama customers will profit from the credit card’s attractive bonus program. Bonus points can be collected when using the card worldwide, inside and outside of Conforama. The credit card is the first credit card in the home furnishing and multimedia sector in Switzerland.

With the issue of the new credit card, GE Money Bank and Conforama are affirming their successful 25-year partnership in the consumer finance sector.

For Bernard Levet, Chief Executive Officer of Conforama, the new credit card is a milestone: “The credit card, which can be used worldwide, will open up new, flexible payment possibilities for our customers and at the same time let them participate in a unique loyalty program.”

Richard Neff, Chief Executive Officer of GE Money Bank, the issuer of the credit card, asserts: “After many years of successful cooperation, we are deepening our partnership with a credit card that is absolutely innovative and customer-oriented for the Swiss market.”
